Welcome to the website for the Millburn/Short Hills Girls' Lacrosse Club (MSHGLAX) for grades 1-8. The Club is a non-profit organization run by volunteers and paid coaches for youth lacrosse players in Millburn/Short Hills, New Jersey. The Club's mission is to provide an opportunity for girls to learn how to play lacrosse and to participate on a team fostering good sportsmanship and teamwork. Our Club members have fun!

The Club is a member of Jersey Girls Girls' Lacrosse Association (JGLA) and US Lacrosse, the national governing body of men's and women's lacrosse. Club members can participate in a variety of New Jersey league events as well as special events and clinics sponsored by US Lacrosse.

MSHGLAX Head Coaches are trained in the US Lacrosse Level 1 certification.  Coaches have also participated in workshops provided by the Positive Coaching Alliance. Coaches have attended educational clinics at the US Lacrosse Convention or JGLA sponsored clinics.

MSGHLAX follows the ROOTS of positive play:
Rules - We follow them.

Opponents - a worthy opponent is a gift that forces us to play to our highest potential.
Officials - We treat officials with respect.

Teammates - We never do anything that would embarrass our team on or off the field.
Self - We live up to our own standards regardless of what others do.

Thank you for visiting our website. Please join us for clinics and team play and learn to play the fast-moving, exciting and fun game of lacrosse.
